What is a Chumby you ask? Well, it's not an alarm clock, not a radio, not a Furby, not a computer or a chubby date either.

The cute 13 oz plushy beanbag with a screen is best described as an Internet Appliance. The first time you look at it you can't help wonder what it is. It's unconventional to say the least and it's missing any of the usual knobs or buttons you find on an appliance. Instead Chumby cleverly incorporates into the beanbag like body a squeeze sensor, tilt sensor, a touchscreen display and even Wi-Fi.

Blackberry 9500 Storms iPhone's Thunder

Blackberry puts up it's second attempt at competing with the Apple iPhone with the new Blackberry 9500 Thunder after an earlier attempt with the 9000 series. Ciritcs similarly point out the Thunders the strong design cues from the iPhone with it's chromed rim, stylish black finish and simplified buttons layout.

This marks the first touchscreen smartphone from Blackberry which drops it's trademark QWERTY keyboard for a touchscreen interface and is seen by industry speculators as a serious attempt to be an iPhone killer.
