This tasty concept keyboard is suppose to supplement the ordinary keyboard with emoticon specific keys for the serial emoticon types out there. Not sure how useful this will be with the keys all jumbled up (A, b D, d, L, m, etc). Also what if you have emoticons that don't look anything like the keyboard's characters? It's a proper QWERTY keyboard like the regular ones you use everyday, just a lot smaller. The design looks good, reminding me of the iMac's machined aluminum keyboard. Only problem is, your hands still needs to be pretty small to use it, but at least it beats using T9 predictive txting. I'm sure this scene has been repeated time and time again in offices and apple shops around the world, but it begs the question, how practical can it be to actually carry around your notebook in an envelop? Probably not at all, however the boffins at Bird Electron have cleverly introduced it's line of hand stitched leather "envelopes" for MacBook Air instead. It looks really good with stitched edges and comes complete with the iconic envelop's thread loops. Let's hope to see it here in Asia soon. Turning it on takes all of 2 seconds to startup, press the red button to record, Play button to play, Trash button to delete. Once you're done with your day of shooting, simply extend built-in USB cable to your computer and the Flip will compress your file into the correct format for you automatically. It's ultra-compact dimensions includes improvements over on the T200 model and keeps the brush metal lens cover with a velvety smooth sliding action. On the back you'll find an unbelievably large 3.5" LCD display and boy this thing is huge, taking up the entire back of the camera. This doubles up as a touchscreen interface to access all your menus and shooting modes. The T300 also incorporates the hilarious Smile Shutter system that litters all their marketing material. And why shouldn't they when it actually works as advertised. Well, it's not an alarm clock, not a radio, not a Furby, not a computer or a chubby date either. The cute 13 oz plushy beanbag with a screen is best described as an Internet Appliance. The first time you look at it you can't help wonder what it is. It's unconventional to say the least and it's missing any of the usual knobs or buttons you find on an appliance. Instead Chumby cleverly incorporates into the beanbag like body a squeeze sensor, tilt sensor, a touchscreen display and even Wi-Fi.
