If The iPhone Wasn't Already Tempting Enough

Just when you thought the iPhone couldn't get any better, old Jobs has done it again by slashing the price even further from $399(old) right down to $199(8GB) and $299(16GB). This should give everyone that isn't living in a cave a real nudge to get one.

Also expect the launch of the App Store for the iPhone applications, a iPhone 2.0 upgrade and the revamp of .Mac to MobileMe.

Blackberry 9500 Storms iPhone's Thunder

Blackberry puts up it's second attempt at competing with the Apple iPhone with the new Blackberry 9500 Thunder after an earlier attempt with the 9000 series. Ciritcs similarly point out the Thunders the strong design cues from the iPhone with it's chromed rim, stylish black finish and simplified buttons layout.

This marks the first touchscreen smartphone from Blackberry which drops it's trademark QWERTY keyboard for a touchscreen interface and is seen by industry speculators as a serious attempt to be an iPhone killer.
